These Raffia Poppets are effigies that can represent someone or something, or used as a petition to the universe or the gods. They can also be used for sympathetic magick, as altar decor, & a for protection.

This set includes both raffia dolls (dress & pants), burlap bag, & information card.

Each doll is made with natural raffia that is dyed with black tea leaves & wrapped in twine.

For sympathetic magic, a doll can be blessed to represent oneself or someone else & various herbs, oils, stones & decor can be added in correlation with that which the practitioner wishes to attract or banish. For instance, if you’re wanting to attract love, you might write down your heart’s desire on a piece of paper & tie it along with a rose to the doll, light a red candle & seal your petition by pouring the red wax on it.

For altar decor, these dolls can represent the balance of all gender energies, fertility, & the great harvest.

For protection, these dolls can be buried near the home (to protect the dwellers) or a farm (to protect the crops). They can also be hung over entryways of a home for protection.
