Winter Hag’s Torch - Mullein Torch for Yule, Winter Goddess, & Spirit Rituals

Otherwise known as “Hag’s Torches”, Mullein stalks have been widely used as natural torches for a very long time, as their old stalks resemble brown candles & burn well & bright. They’re even more effective if dipped in tallow or beeswax. Mullein itself is a powerful plant that is often used for divination & necromancy, as it has direct ties to the Otherworld. Because of this, these torches are also used for rituals & altars dedicated to the Goddess Hekate who is also represented holding a torch to light the way to the Underworld.

MADE WITH: Dried Mullein Stalk harvested near the Mogollon Rim in a field amongst Purple Thistle, Yarrow, Oak, & Elk remains. Dipped in white Beeswax with Oils of Juniper & Lavender, sprinkled with Rose, Deers Tongue, & Mica powder.

Each stalk measures about 7-9”.

CAUTION: The beeswax only slows the burn, but these torches will burn high & bright. Light away from the face, use over a fireproof bowl or surface & don’t leave unattended. Recommended burning outside or leaving windows open when burning inside.
