Magenta Copper Cauldron - Cauldron Handforged Copper Cauldron with Magenta Patina Offering \ Alchemy Bowl

Copper is a raw element conducting loads of energy that intensifies when used with other earthly elements. It is said that crystals, herbs, & resins can enhance the properties of the copper. Copper is often used in meditation because it helps to induce and enhance calmness & serene energy. The bowls also sing when tapped on the edge with a crystal. The energy of copper is also said to help enhance psychic intuition & can open the senses in spell casting.

Inspired by the goddess Eostre, this cauldron measures about 6” in diameter & has a traditional Japanese patina called Hido that produces colors ranging from deep grayish purple, magenta, deep pink, red, and sometimes even a flash of orange! The cauldron can be used as an altar offering bowl, but if you wish to burn anything in it, we recommend filling it halfway with salt or fine sand first, as the patina can get damaged by excessive heat or flame, but otherwise this is a very durable patina.

All bowls are forged & hammered by hand. The patina is applied by heating the piece to cherry red and quenching it in a traditional solution of salt of boric acid, science is magic!

All patinas may look different & vary bowl to bowl. Because of this, you may receive one that is darker/lighter toned than what is pictured. The different photos show possible variations, especially in different lighting.

This cauldron can be used in rituals & alchemy to magnify the energy transfer between the bearer & other natural elements. Copper is also a potent cleanser & can help remove negative energy from a space, while charging protective tools, like amulets & sigils.
