All of our flower crowns are inspired by ancient & traditional flower crowns with a modern twist. Each crown is an original design & one of a kind. We do not produce multiples of our designs nor do custom crown orders, in order to maintain the integrity of our creativity. They are made with quality materials & designed with durability & versatility in mind, so that they may be functional pieces of art for everyone! These crowns can be worn in ceremony, coven rituals, photo shoots, costumes, festivals, & even hung as decoration.
“They call me The Wild Rose, but my name is Elisa Day… (Nick Cave ft Kylie Minogue)” - this crown is inspired by the urban legend of Elisa Day who was murdered by her boyfriend for her incredible beauty. She was so beautiful, people called her The Wild Rose because she resembled the wild roses that grew by the River “all bloody & red”. When her boyfriend took her there, he killed her saying “all beauty must die”, ensuring tragedy for all love & beauty.
It is made with a bright red braided velvet headband, faux red & black roses, faux gold leaves, & adorned with a red & gold jeweled pendant. Hanging from the crown are red & gold tassels, black velvet ribbons, rose decorated jacquard ribbons. It has a black velvet backing lined with red trim & is adorned with black & red rose cameo.
This crown measures nearly a foot high from the bottom of the headband to the peak of the flowers, nearly a foot wide, & with 16” long ribbons that hang down.
*This crown is relatively top heavy, but extremely durable, though it will break if not treated with care. After wearing your crown, hang it on the wall to keep it unharmed (plus, it makes an excellent decoration!) Headbands are flexible & can fit any size or shape head, though they will not fit behind the ears well if wearing glasses. In that case, they can be worn in front of the ears.
